Katelynn Kearney (Kate) is the owner and operator of Fly with Kate! Located at the scenic Joseph Y. Resnick Airport (N89) in Ellenville NY, Kate has been providing primary and advanced flight instruction since 2009. Kate has been involved in aviation most of her life. She started flying at 16, receiving her private pilots license at the age of 17.  Kate has been flying planes before should could even drive a car! At the age of 18 Kate received her instructor rating. Since then, Kate has amassed over 8000 flight hours and has earned her commercial, instrument, multi-engine, certified flight instructor, instrument flight instructor, multi-engine instructor, seaplane, tailwheel, high performance, and complex ratings and endorsements. Kate is also type rated in both the Citation 550 and 650 jet! Kate is not only a pilot but a mechanic as well. Kate has her Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate and has her Inspector Authorization (IA) from the FAA. Kate is a member of the Ninety-Nines and is active with the Young Eagles, working hard to inspire the next generation of aviators.
